This Saturday my brother and I are going to play in an A-poc game (as they call it there). Bring 1500 pts. We will see how many people turn up.
This will be my first A-poc game and first game against a non-sibling. I am not expecting my men to survive as they normally die easily in just a normal game and the big templates will mulch my footsloggers.
Still, glory beckons and I'll be going hammer and tongs. "Kill for the living. Kill for the dead".
Well that was fun and exhausting. Quite a mish-mash of forces. Side a) BT, CF, Guard tanks & Tau against Side B) SW, Tyranids, Chaos SM & Orks.
ReplyDeleteAfter 3 turns we were exhausted and Side B had overwhelmed us.
For my part I was against Logan's WG Terminators and then along with the Guard SHeavy Tanks against a Hierodule.
The WGT were done over by 2 Vindis, Pred Annihilator, and the EC + Crusaders :)
The Hierodule on the other hand was a magnet for HWs but still no luck. Marshal Wilhelm threw a Vortex bomb at it but I rolled 1 wound on a d6.
Below average shooting against it kept it alive and so it mulched us.
Average rolling would have been appreciated!
That would have kept the game as a dead heat, but alas, it was not to be....
Good fun all round. Everyone played wholeheartedly and engaged into the spirit of recklessness.
